Update + Instructions on Writing Kyle a Letter

Kyle wrote home again (That's twice in a week! That boy's amazing!)

He met his mission President, President Topham, and thought that he was really nice. He's been called to be the district leader of his MTC District, which means that he's responsible for around 10 other missionaries. It'll keep him busy, and he loves being busy.

If you'd like to write Kyle, the easiest way is through www.dearelder.com, it's a really useful site. When you get to the website, there's a "Send Stuff" box, down here:

Click on the "Provo MTC (FREE)" link. The information you'll need to write him is in the left hand column of this blog.

Until July 13th you can write to Kyle for free! You could literally write to him every day, and he'd get a letter in his mailbox every day, and it would cost you nothing! That is exciting.

After July 13th just click on the "Not Pouch ($0.44)" link. The address for his mission is also in the left hand column here. It only costs $0.44, the cost of a stamp, to mail him a letter, but you don't have to go to the post office and buy stamps and get a cramp in your hand and all of that. You can just typety-type away and he'll get a fancy little letter a couple of days later.

Anyway, the point of this post is, Kyle is doing well, and BE SURE YOU WRITE HIM! He'll like it.

He'll be emailing tomorrow (Wednesday), so we'll keep you updated!

Today was the day!

It's official: as of 1:00 pm today, Kyle Harrison is now Elder Harrison. He made it to the MIssionary Training Center safe and sound, and will be there for the next three weeks or so.

Kyle wanted us to be sure to mention that he doesn't really have many people's addresses. Since that's the case, he'd like anyone who's even remotely interested in corresponding with him to write him a letter soon (his address is on the left side of this blog).

Starting soon we'll have his letters posted here, along with (hopefully) some pictures and things. Thanks for sharing this experience with Kyle.

WhadITellYa

As previously promised, I received my MTC mailing address. If you want to send me a letter anytime between June 22nd and July 13th, send them to the MTC address posted on the side of the blog. After July 13th, send them to the address marked "My Current Address." Once I get into the Mission Field, I'll be living in different apartments and living areas periodically and my address will change. I will inform my Mother or Brother of the address and they will update the "My Current Address." Until then, the address of the Mission Home in Pittsburgh is posted. Thank you and enjoy.

1 Week Till

In exactly one week, I leave for the Provo MTC. Within the next few days, I should receive the information for my MTC Mailing Address. A special thanks to Mr. Dakota Hudson for reminding me to get on top of putting all my ducks in order...or chickens. I've never been a fan of fowls that haven't been cooked. From June 22nd, 2011 until about July 13th 2011 you can send me all the paper mail you would like at the MTC address (which as forementioned will be posted soon). After July 13th, you may mail your numerous letters to the address posted. As of right now, the address includes my mission home. I'm not sure exactly how that works, but go ahead and mail me something at that address if you like...we'll see what happens.

Feel free to also look into dearelder.com? I think... I believe how it works is you type a letter, put in my address or name or something and they print it off and send it to me. You still have to pay regular postage stamp price, etc.

Also, my mother or brother will be periodically posting my emails as well as the occasional pictures on this blog for your entertainment. Enjoy. God Speed. Milk builds strong bones.
